Here is conductor Joseph R. Olefirowicz conducting “What’s The Use?” from Bernstein’s Candide. Time was, a classical musician couldn’t be taken seriously if he or she wasn’t SERIOUS. Maestro Olefirowicz is not only entertaining to watch, his orchestra, at the Vienna Volksoper, is doing a wicked job of following his cues and being right in synch with the singers, both in time and spirit.
